Today we saw a container ship, 120ish dolphins and have just seen the lights of another ship. Hmmm. The container ship popped up out of nowhere and crossed 2 miles in front of us. The dolphins where absolutely fantastic and I got some really good pictures of them, so that’s nice. Watches are changing tonight, two hours on and two hours off as apposed to 6 on, and 6 off. Why? Because we have to be more alert now that we are near the coast and there are ships around. Oh well there you go. So in short, an eventful day! We are about 190 miles from Fernando now so should arrive on Friday. Good night all.

- It is the year 2007 and Charles McDonald has decided to take a Gap year. I am sailing from Cape Town to St. Helena, then to Ascension, then Fernando, then Fortaleza and ending up in Trinindad in the Caribbean. I will then go to the North section of the Caribbean and try and find work for about 6 months. And then to England in September.
