Today we got in the car and drove around the island. It is Beautiful! We were in the mountains and surrounded my a very nice fog. It was stunning. See the pictures. Then tonight we had the prize giving at the Governor's house, it was very good. Lots of free drinks. However when we arrived at 19:25 we were made to stand in the rain, doors do not open until 19:30 we were told. A couple of us walked through the back door but were met by a stern chap who told us to go around the front and wait. It was interesting to say the least. Good night all.

About Me
- Charles McDonald
- CuraƧao
- It is the year 2007 and Charles McDonald has decided to take a Gap year. I am sailing from Cape Town to St. Helena, then to Ascension, then Fernando, then Fortaleza and ending up in Trinindad in the Caribbean. I will then go to the North section of the Caribbean and try and find work for about 6 months. And then to England in September.

Wow - St Helena looks fantastic. Love to visit sometime. Maybe next year we can convince Ian to take Argonaut on the Governor's Cup, and I can find the time to come over for it.
