It is the year 2007 and Charles McDonald has decided to take a Gap year. I am sailing from Cape Town to St. Helena, then to Ascension, then Fernando, then Fortaleza and ending up in Trinindad in the Caribbean. I will then go to the North section of the Caribbean and try and find work for about 6 months. And then to England in September.

Day 23 19th January 2007 Friday

Today we loaded the boats that are being shipped back on the RMS St. Helena. Unfortunately there were some serious breakages, including the top of Tom's mast. Oh well. That's life. Tonight we are having a party at Donny's to say goodbye. It is going to be rather big. I spent most of today at Donny's rewiring the lighting and sound system, a huge system, it is very nice. Russell would be jealous of it. More Tommorrow on what happens tonight.
