Restful day so far. Wind picked up last night so we put the sails out properly and turned the engine off which was a bit of a relief. Reading a book at the moment called The Rotters’ Club. I got it for Christmas and it is well written but very depressing. It is all about pretty shitty stuff in general. It seems like a waste to me. Anyway there you go. I don’t suggest it. For the sailors the wind is right behind us, 10 knots, and we have Main up and Genoa poled out. No spinnakers on board. Having a good time, I think.
Start reading at the bottom and work your way up!
About Me
- Charles McDonald
- Curaçao
- It is the year 2007 and Charles McDonald has decided to take a Gap year. I am sailing from Cape Town to St. Helena, then to Ascension, then Fernando, then Fortaleza and ending up in Trinindad in the Caribbean. I will then go to the North section of the Caribbean and try and find work for about 6 months. And then to England in September.
