We are on the road again, or should I say running with the current which is a significant two knots! Ascension was interesting to say the least! When we first got there we walked through Georgetown, and saw no one at all, on the main road, 300m long! We found a restaurant, the Tasty Tucker, which was open, we where her first customers of the day, it was midday and she closed at one, in short not a very busy island. The Tasty Tucker is the only restaurant on the island. So there you go. Anyway we are on our way again and it is going well. We have a nice strong wind of 20 knots and we are doing 6 knots, in the direction of Fernando, our next port of call.

About Me

- Curaçao
- It is the year 2007 and Charles McDonald has decided to take a Gap year. I am sailing from Cape Town to St. Helena, then to Ascension, then Fernando, then Fortaleza and ending up in Trinindad in the Caribbean. I will then go to the North section of the Caribbean and try and find work for about 6 months. And then to England in September.
